xL Lock

Explicit (xL) channels can be locked so that these channels are not shown in channel lists, and are
shown as locked in categories . When explicit channels are locked, if an attempt is made to tune an
explicit channel, you will be prompted for the lock code .
When you browse a category, the channel number and channel logo of the
locked channel will be shown but not the artist and song/program
information . Instead, a lock icon
shown . If you tune through the channels using
are skipped and are neither displayed or tuned .
If you attempt to tune to a locked channel, either by using Direct Tune or through the category list,
you'll be prompted to enter the 4-digit lock code . When the correct code is entered, you'll be able to
tune to and listen to the channel, and all locked channels will become unlocked and remain unlocked
until you turn Roady BT Off and back On . In the category list, the previously locked channels will show
an unlocked icon
To turn xL Lock on or off:
1. Press Menu .
2. Press to scroll to and highlight xL Lock Settings . Press the Select button .
3. If this is the first time you are turning on Parental Controls, xL Lock will be highlighted . Press the
Select button . You will be prompted to select a 4-digit lock code:
i . For each digit, press one of the 0-9 keys (or press
select digits and then press
if you need to go back and edit a previous digit .
ii . When you have selected all 4 digits of your lock code press the
Select button .
iii . The Lock Code Confirmation screen will be displayed . For your
records, write down the lock code you have selected . Press the
Select button . Continue with step 5 .
4. If you had previously selected a 4-digit lock code you will be
prompted to enter your existing lock code:
i . For each digit, press one of the 0-9 keys (or press
select digits and then press
if you need to go back and edit a previous digit .
ii . When you have selected all 4 digits of the lock code press the Select button .
5. At the xL Lock Settings screen, xL Lock will be highlighted . Press the Select button to toggle
the xL lock setting on or off .
6. Press and hold Menu to return to the Now Playing screen .
To change the xL Lock code:
1. Press Menu .
2. Press to scroll to and highlight xL Lock Settings . Press the Select button .
