Proceed as follows to connect the hose and use the function:
1. Open the top and middle hood.
2. Take the hose holder in one hand and the prepared material
feed hose in the other.
3. Lay the hose along the holder guide so that the hose clamp at
the upper end of the hose (short stainless-steel spigot) is flush
with the hose holder.
4. Now press the hose into the holder guide.
5. Then insert the hose holder along with the hose into the refill
printing position (horizontal position). The end of the hose with
the short stainless-steel nozzle should now point into the left-
hand reservoir outlet opening.
6. Fold the peristaltic pump cover upwards to open the hose
passage for the pump.
7. Pass the long end of the hose through the hose passage of the
pump.
8. Now press the peristaltic pump cover down to fix the hose in the
pump.
1. Wear protective gloves on your hands.
2. Open the material bottle and set the bottle cap aside.
3. Place the opened material bottle in the bottle holder (material).
The bottle holder prevents the bottle from tipping over when the
filling level in the bottle decreases. You can unscrew the bottle
holder and remove it if you do not need it
4. Now insert the end of the hose with the bevelled stainless-steel
tube into the material bottle.
5. Insert the hose into the hose cut-out on the left-hand side of the
mounting plate and clamp it behind the lug provided (see fig.
on the left). Close both hoods again.
As soon as the hose holder is in the refill printing
position (horizontal position) and a print job is started,
the filling level in the reservoir is checked and material
is refilled.
To avoid mixing materials (biocompatible and non-
biocompatible) and colours (transparent/white and
heavily coloured materials), the hose should be cleaned
before changing printing materials. → Chapter 10.1.12
In case of frequent material changes, we recommend
using a separate material feed hose for each printing
material to avoid time-consuming hose cleaning. By
doing so, mark the hoses with the respective material
labels. Use the labelling flags included in delivery for
this purpose.
