6-4-2. Setconf Command
This command is used to set the SNMP configurations.
Using the command, name of the MIB community, time zone character string and threshold value of
various counters are set.
Command format : setconf nn (Setting contents of the item.)
setconf save (Saving the set item.)
Specify the item number "nn" of the command to be set. (Refer to Section 6-4-3.)

The set item will not be saved until "setconf save" is executed. Be sure to execute the setconf save
command to save the setup.
Execution example
1. Enter "setconf 1".
2. Enter a new value in New Value.
3. Enter "setconf save".
The setup is saved.
SNMPCmd>setconf 1
01: Read Community
Old Value: public
New Value: private
Update complete.
SNMPCmd>setconf save
Setups was saved into Flash memory.
