This equipment should be secured to the building before operation.

3-1. Precaution

. Be sure to install the PDJ-A640 Professional Disc Cart machine by two or more persons for the safety
purpose.
. The PDW-1500, PDW-HD1500, PDW-F1600, PDW-F70 and PDW-F75 disc recorders installed in the
cart machine are referred to as DECK.

3-2. Preparation

3-2-1. Fixtures Required for Installation

This section introduces the fixtures necessary to install the PDJ-A640 Professional Disc Cart machine.
. Wrench (width across flats: 19 mm)
Used to adjust the leveling feet.
Required for installing and moving the Cart machine.
. Spirit level
Used to adjust the leveling feet.
. Hexagonal wrench (width across flats: 3 mm)
Used to remove the shipping plate A and B.
. Hexagonal wrench (width across flats: 4 mm)
Used to move the shipping rings (upper) and (lower).
. Hexagonal wrench (width across flats: 6 mm)
Used to install or remove the rotation stopper fixing screw for the bin drum.
. Screwdriver (No. 2: for M3 through M5)
Used to install or remove the lock cover, blank panel, board cover, and lower rear cover.
. Tweezers
Used to toggle the DIP switch on the system control board when setting 525 and 625.
