Ejecting PC cards

For Windows 2000 users
For Windows 2000 users, before turning the printer off or
unplugging the USB cable, the printer's memory card drive must
be disabled as explained below.
1. Click the Unplug or Eject Hardware icon on the Windows
taskbar.
2. Click Stop EPSON SP895 Storage-Drive (G). (The drive
letter shown may vary depending on your computer.)
3. When a confirmation message appears, click OK.
4. Turn the printer off, then unplug the USB cable.
Caution:

If you unplug the USB cable in any other way, you may damage
the memory card data.
For Macintosh users
Macintosh computers may write information on a memory card
when it is loaded in the PC card slot. However, after doing so,
some digital cameras may no longer be able to read the memory
card.

Caution:
Slide the PC card horizontally into the slot with the
insert mark up. Forcing the card into the slot or inserting
it at an angle can damage the printer and the card.
Do not eject PC cards or turn off power to the printer
while the printer is processing (reading or writing) data.
Doing so can cause data to be lost.
