Align the two sides of the chest clip at the child's
armpit level and snap them together.

Tighten the harness straps by pulling on the
adjuster strap at the child's feet. The harness straps
must be snug against the child. A snug strap should
not allow any slack. It lies in a relatively straight line
without sagging. It does not press on the child's
flesh or push the child's body into an unnatural
position.
Check the harness straps near the shoulders for slack.
