Adjust the base so that the level line is level with
the ground and continue with "Placing the Carrier in
the Base" on page 25.

Installing the Convenience Base
with the Vehicle Seat Belt
Pull the shoulder belt tightly
to remove all slack from the
lap portion of the vehicle
seat belt and, at the same
time, push down on the
base using your full weight.
Check to be sure the base
is secured in the vehicle
seat.
DEATH or SERIOUS
INJURY can occur.
DO NOT
use this child
restraint if it moves more
than 2.5 cm (1 in.) forward
or side-to-side at the seat
belt path. Move the child
restraint to another seating
location, try to tighten the
seat belt again, or use the
lower anchors instead.
