Prerequisites

1. Remove the battery.
2. Remove the optical drive.
3. Remove the keyboard.
4. Remove the base cover.
5. Remove the wireless card.
6. Remove the display assembly.
7. Remove the display bezel.
8. Remove the display panel.
9. Remove the camera.

Procedure

1. Remove the three screws (M2.5x2.5) that secure the left display hinge to the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
2. Lift the left display hinge off the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
3. Note the display cable routing, and remove the display cable from the routing guides on the display back-cover and antenna
assembly.
4. Remove the display cable off the display back-cover and antenna assembly.
