- Page 3 Step 01 AT TA C H B A S E . Assemble the chair on a soft, clean surface. Attach base to the seat shell with the provided hardware as shown. Ensure that the base is oriented in the correct position as shown. Align the curved edge of the base plate with the curved edge on the bottom of the seat shell.
