5. The sensor will wait until it detects gas and will enter the "Find Span" stage of
calibration. This typically takes between 30 and 180 seconds.
6. Once this stage succeeds, the sensor will check that the result is within limit and notify
the operator whether the calibration routine has failed or succeeded. The operator
maybe be notified if sensor is nearing end of life.
7. If the calibration failed, the calibration can be attempted again right away, but it is
recommended that the operator accepts the background gas concentration provided by
the unit since the unit will retain the original background gas concentration.
