    1. Plug the AC power cable into the AC power connector on the rear panel of the instrument. Only use the AC power cable delivered with the R&S AREG800A. 2. Plug the AC power cable into a power outlet with ground contact.

    ► Connect the LAN socket via an RJ-45 cable to the LAN. By default, the R&S AREG800A is configured to use DHCP (dynamic host config- uration protocol) and no static IP address is configured. If switched on and connected to the LAN, the R&S AREG800A displays the address information on the screen.
