2.1 Product description
The control box consists of cables and a cabinet
containing various parts which allow control of the
connected pump.

There are three types of cable:
1) UNILIFT AP12, AP35 and AP50
2) UNILIFT AP35B and AP50B
3) UNILIFT APG.
2.2 Intended use
The control box is designed for the protection and
start/stop of the following three-phase pump types:

UNILIFT AP12
•
UNILIFT AP35
•
UNILIFT AP50
•
UNILIFT AP35B
•
UNILIFT AP50B
•
UNILIFT APG.

For adjustment of the float switch, see the installation
and operating instructions for the pump.

The installation must be fitted with a re-
sidual-current device (RCD) with a trip-
ping current less than 30 mA.

Make sure that the power supply plug
delivered with the product is in compli-
ance with local regulations.
‐
The plug must have the same protec-
tive earth (PE) connection system as
the power outlet. If not, use a suitable
adapter if allowed by local regulations.

Power cables without a plug must be
connected to a supply disconnecting
device incorporated in the fixed wiring
according to the local wiring rules.

Check that the mains voltage and fre-
quency stated on the pump nameplate
correspond to the electricity supply on
which it will be used.
The control box must be connected to an
external main switch. If the pump is not in-
stalled close to the main switch, this must
be of a lockable type.
