3. DATABASE MANAGEMENT

SVR-DS manages some of the databases managed by OIS-DS/SVR-DS, as described below.
(1) Historical Database
Saves process data, history information, and report data.
It collects trend data of processes and saves it as historical tag data. You can write in or read
out data.
It also collects event information of processes and the system and saves it as historical
messages. You can read and print out historical messages.
(2) Report Database
Processes historical tag data in the Historical Database and saves it as report data. You can
write in or read out data.
(3) Network Database
Saves historical tag registration information, internal tag registration information, and
application data. For this database, data is mirrored to all SVR-DS's. You can write in or
read out data for each item.
