mm) through the slot in the alternator bracket and the
hole in the alternator

6. Slide the alternator belt over the pulley on the alternator
(Figure

7. Tension the alternator belt and ensure that it has 1.25
cm (1/2 inch) of flex when applying 4.5 kg (10 lb) of
force at mid-span.
8. Tighten the hex-head flange screw (M8 x 20 mm).
