Connecting The Dc Power Adapter - Respironics Portable Battery Pack User Manual

IMPORTANT! The battery must be in an upright
position during use and while charging. Actual
power consumption will vary according to
prescription pressures and breathing patterns. The
lower the prescription, the less power required.
NOTE: The battery should be fully charged before
use to ensure that the full battery capacity is
available.
NOTE: If you are using a heated humidifier with
your therapy device, the humidifier will not heat
up while connected to DC power. In this mode,
the humidifier acts as a passover, or non-heated
humidifier.
NOTE: The battery adapter cable accessory, used
with the DC Power Adapter, cannot be used with
the Portable Battery Pack.
Connecting the DC Power
Adapter
1. Turn off the therapy device.
2. Connect the Auto Adapter to the input cable
end of the DC Power Adapter. See Figure 4.
3. Plug the Auto Adapter into the battery pack
socket.
4. Plug the DC Power Adapter's output cable
into one of the power receptacles on the rear
of the therapy device.
5. Turn therapy device on, and verify proper
operation.
