• Fig 95, 105 - (the red indicator 23 is blinking, the
battery 5 is inserted in the charger 21) - the charging
process of the battery 5 is terminated because of its
failure Replace the faulty battery 5, its further use is
prohibited
In the process of charging the battery 5
and the charger 21 become hot, it is a
normal process.
Switching the power tool on / off
Switching on:
Press the plastic tip 14 to the surface and press the
power tool down until it stops, indicator 11 will light
up, indicating that the power tool is ready to shot (see
fig. 11.1). While holding the power tool in this position,
press the trigger 3 - a shot will occur (see fig. 11.2).
Switching off:
Release trigger 3 and raise the power tool
Design features of the power tool
Temperature protection (see fig. 12.1-13.1)
The temperature protection system enables to auto-
matically deactivate the power tool in case of excess
load or when the temperature of the battery 5 is ex-
ceeding 80°C The system guarantees protection of
the power tool from damage in case of noncompliance
with the operation conditions
When this protection system is activated indicators 6
will blink as shown onto fig. 12.1-13.1 during 3 sec-
onds
Overheating protection (see fig. 12.1-13.1)
Overheating protection system of the engine automati-
cally switches off the power tool in case of overheat-
ing In this situation, let the tool cool before turning the
power tool on again
When this protection system is activated indicators 6
will blink as shown onto fig. 12.1-13.1 during 3 sec-
onds
Overload protection (see fig. 12.1-13.1)
Overload protection system of the engine automatically
switches off the power tool when it is operated in a man-
ner that causes it to draw an abnormally high current
When this protection system is activated indicators 6
will blink as shown onto fig. 12.1-13.1 during 3 sec-
onds
Overdischarge protection
The battery 5 is protected by the safety system against
deep discharge In case of complete discharge, the pow-
er tool is automatically switched off Attention: do not
try to switch on the power tool when the protection
system is activated the battery 5 can be damaged.
Indicators of the state of battery charge (see
fig. 12.2-13.2)
With the push of the button 7 the indicators 6 show the
state of charge of the battery 5 (see fig. 12.2-13.2).
Indicator (see fig. 11.1)
Indicator 11 signals the readiness of the power tool to
shot, at the same time highlighting the place where the
staple or nail will be driven
Impact force adjustment
The required impact force can be set using regulator 2
The required impact force depends on the material
being processed, the working conditions and can be
established by practical testing
Recommendations on the power tool op-
eration
General recommendations
• Remove the battery 5 from the power tool and
install the fasteners 19 or 20 into the magazine 11 as
described above Insert the battery 5 into the power
tool
• Make a shot at the work surface
• Evaluate the quality of driving fasteners:
• if the upper part of the staple 19 or the head of the
nail 20 protrudes above the surface, increase the
impact force by turning the regulator 2 to the right
Attention: when working for a long time with
insufficient impact force, increased wear of the
parts of the power tool occurs;
• if the upper part of the staple 19 or the head of the
nail 20 is too deep in the surface, it is necessary to
reduce the impact force by turning the regulator 2 to
the left
• After finishing work, remove the battery 5 from the
power tool and remove the remaining fasteners 19 or 20
from the magazine 11
Power tool maintenance / preventive
measures
Before carrying out any works on the power tool
remove the battery 5.
Battery maintenance instruction
• Charge timely before the battery 5 is completely
exhausted Stop operation in low power and charge
it immediately
• Do not overcharge when the battery 5 is full, other-
wise it will shorten the life time
• Charge battery 5 in the room temperature of 10°C
to 40°C (50°F to 104°F)
• Charge battery 5 every 6 months without operation
for a long time
• Replace worn out batteries in time Decline of
production or a significantly shorter runtime of the
power tool after charging indicates aging of the
battery 5 and the need for replacement It should be
taken into account that the battery 5 may discharge
faster if the works take place in the temperature
below 0°С.
• In case of long time storage without use, it is recom-
mended to store the battery 5 at room temperature, it
should be charged to 50%
