    G E N E R A L I N F O R M AT I O N INTRODUCTION Please read and understand all instructions in this manual carefully and thoroughly before attempting to operate these products. These instructions contain important safety and use information. UNPACKING The products in this kit have been thoroughly tested and have been shipped in perfect operating condition.

If the requested repairs or service (including parts replacement) are within the terms of this warranty, ADJ Products, LLC will pay return shipping charges only to a designated point within the United States. If the entire instrument is sent, it must be shipped in its original package. No accessories should be shipped with the product.

    F E AT U R E S The ADJ WiFly NE1 is a multifunction controller that can work as an LED controller as well as a simple MIDI controller. When operating as a stage lighting controller, the device has the following main fea- tures: •...

    Power Supply: Before plugging your unit in, be sure the source voltage in your area matches the required voltage for your ADJ WiFly NE1. Only use the included power supply to power WiFly NE1. DMX-512: DMX is short for Digital Multiplex. This is a universal pro- tocol used by most lighting and controller manufactures as a form of communication between intelligent fixtures and controllers.
  • Page 11 2 and 3 of a male XLR connector (DATA + and DATA -). This unit is inserted in the female XLR connector of the last unit in your daisy chain to terminate the line. Using a cable terminator (ADJ part number Z-DMX/T) will decrease the possibilities of erratic behavior. 3-Pin to 5-Pin Cable Adapter Some manufactures use 5-pin DMX- 512 data cables for DATA transmission in place of 3-pin.

    W I F LY S E T U P Set WiFly Channel 1. Press the SET-UP button for two seconds to enter the main menu. 2. Turn the DIAL/ENTER button to menu option 6 (Set wifly channel). Press the DIAL/ENTER button to enter.

    Edit Light Lib Note: WiFly NE1 allows for channel defaults to be set for PAN, TILT, COLOR, and GOBO channels when the profile is being created. If you wish to edit these defaults or set automatic de- faults for other channels, this is where you do this.
  • Page 14 Load Data From USB Note: This option can only be used if you already have data from a WiFly NE1 controller stored on your USB stick. Data files will appear in your computer as CONFIG01 - CONFIG12. These files cannot be renamed.
  • Page 15 O P E R AT I O N Delete Memory Note: This function should be used with caution as it will de- lete all memories stored in MEMORY buttons 1-12. The default passcode to execute this function is 1668. If your passcode has changed, you will need to input it to execute this function.
