    I N S TA L L AT I O N I N S T R U C T I O N S DO NOT INSTALL THE FIXTURE IF YOU ARE NOT QUALIFIED TO DO SO! Fixture MUST be installed following all local, national, and country commercial electrical and construction codes and regulations.
  • Page 12 FIXTURE WILL NOT DROP IF THE CLAMP FAILS. The VIZI CMY300 is fully operational in three mounting positions: hanging upside-down, mounted sideways on trussing, or set on a flat, level surface. Ensure this fixture is kept at least 0.7ft (0.2m) away from any flammable materials (decorations, etc.).

    G O B O S & G O B O R E P L A C E M E N T The glass gobo’s are the only gobo’s that are interchangable in this unit. Remember when changing these gobo’s that they are glass. Please do this process gently so you do not break the gobo. Caution! Never open the unit when in use.

    XLR connector (DATA + and DATA -). This unit is inserted in the female XLR connector of the last unit in your daisy chain to terminate the line. Using a cable terminator (ADJ part number Z-DMX/T) will decrease the possibilities of erratic behavior.
  • Page 19 In the case of the VIZI CMY300, when in 21 channel mode you should set the starting DMX address of the first unit to 1, the second unit to 22 (21 + 1), the third unit to 43 (22 + 21), and so on. (See the chart below for more details.)

    SYSTEM MENU The fixture includes an easy to navigate system menu control panel display where all necessary settings and adjustments are made. During normal operation, pressing the MENU button once will access the fixture’s main menu. Once in the main menu, you can navigate through the different functions with the UP and DOWN buttons.

The display will lock after 30 seconds, press the MENU button for 3 seconds to unlock. DMX FUNCTIONS DMX Address - With this function, you can adjust the DMX address via the Control Board.
  • Page 23 S Y S T E M M E N U FIXTURE SETTINGS Pan Invert - With this function, you can reverse the Pan movement. 1. Access the main menu, and press the UP or DOWN buttons so that “Fixture Settings” is highlighted, then press ENTER.
  • Page 24 3. Press the MENU button to return to the main menu. USB Upgrade File - This submenu is used for any future software updates. Contact ADJ customer service for help when updating software. Firmware Version - With this function, you can check the current firmware version.

    O F F S E T M E N U NOTE: ONLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS SHOULD PERFORM THIS FUNCTION This function allows small adjustments to be made to the multiple fixture settings to compensate for movement misalignment, and/or when a sensor has been knocked slightly out of position. Improper use of this function can result in undesired operation of this fixture compared to others being used at the same time.
