Handset microphone is muted
for call monitoring only.
Depressing the MUTE button
turns off the LCD and the
muting of the handset
microphone.
Disables handset microphone,
but handset receiver remains
on. Microphone can be
restored by operating the
MUTE key again. The Mute
LCD indicator winks during
microphone muting; winking
stops if the MUTE key is
depressed again and LCD is
off. This Mute feature only
functions in handset mode,
disabling the mouthpiece
microphone (transmitter).
Lift handset and continue
conversation until power is
restored.
