    3. Safety instructions  Depressurize the system before carrying out any work on the piping.  Installation and maintenance work may only be carried out when the device is not under pressure.  Installation and maintenance work may only be carried out by trained and experienced personnel.

    4. Appropriate use TD420M series condensate drain is intended exclusively for the following purpose:  Draining condensate from compressed air system (air compressors, air receivers/pressure vessels, air dryers and air filters). Any other form of use or one going beyond this shall be considered as inappropriate. We shall have no liability whatsoever for any damage incurred as a result.
  • Page 8 Connecting several condensate collecting points to one condensate drain device causes operating problems (1). Make sure that each condensate collecting point has its own condensate drain (2). After installation or maintenance, the test button should be pressed to empty condensate that has been collected while the ball valve has been closed.

Be careful not to pinch wires by cover! Be careful to clamp all strains of wires into respective terminal blocks (use ferrules)! Electrical connection should be made as shown above.

    7. Operation For operation with TD420m follow next steps. 1. Connect condensate drain device with the filter housing. You must follow the arrows on pressure valves and electromagnetic valves from inlet pointing to the outlet. 2. Connect outlet of the condensate drain to outflow. 3.

    P Periods T and T are set by knobs on the condensate drain device. After some weeks of operation, when you check electromagnetic valve test, you can may adjust the periods, if notice that only air is discharged when the test button is pressed, then the T may be increased.

    7.3 Troubleshooting If having a trouble with condensate drain device: 1. Test the device with pressing test button. Try several times. 2. If it not better and the device not draining water or air, disassemble and clean the valve and fittings.
