BF - Installation and operating manual Operating • Be sure that the filter housing and drain are tightly closed. Open the valve on the inlet side of the strainer. Slowly open the valve on the outlet side of the filter. The filter is now in service. - Page 10 The filter element or catridge might be contaminated by the filtered substances.
