Carry-Over – When the push-pin is black, the comments pane information will be copied to the
comments pane of the subsequent measurement. This can be very useful when conditions are not being
changed between measurements.
Measurements
License Files
When the USB flash drive is used to install the software that was supplied with your system, any license
file that is required will be automatically installed. For Legacy AGMS sensors, license files contain
calibration tables that match the sensor's serial number. If you are using a Legacy multi-sensor (AGMS-D
or AGMS-M) and have not installed the license file or if they have been recalibrated, you can use the Main
Menu dropdown and select Licenses/Import license. If the AG software cannot locate a matching license
file, it will provide a dialog box asking you to locate it. Plus sensors have the calibration files built into the
sensors.
Custom calibrations, if not installed as part of software setup, would also be added this way.
NOTE: The CPC date (Calibration Parameters Change date) is saved with the sensor information for every
measurement. When a sensor is sent in for annual calibration, the sensor's calibration is verified and the
date is changed only if the calibration parameters need to be changed. If the sensor's parameters are
within limits, the original CPC date is not changed, only the certification label is updated.
Using the AGMS-DM+ sensor
Once the sensor is connected, select the appropriate modality from the pop-up list in the bottom right
corner. This pop-up menu appears when multi-sensor is connected. If it is a DM+ sensor, the default will
be Diagnostic.
Taking a Measurement for Mammographic Sensors
Before making an exposure, make sure to choose the Anode/Filter combination that best represents the
machine being measured.
Radcal sensor calibrations used the following mammographic tubes and assume a 2.2 mm polycarbonate
paddle, or simulated paddle (Appendix H), are placed on top of the sensor:
