To remove the junior (booster) seat:
Press the buckle release button and allow
the belt to retract.

When installing a child restraint system,
follow the instructions provided by its
manufacturer.
Depending on the type of your child re-
straint system, you will need a locking clip
to install a child restraint system properly.
If your child restraint system does not
provide a locking clip, you can purchase
one at your Toyota dealer. (See "—Child
restraint system" in this Section for de-
tails.)
For the safety of a child, install child re-
straint systems to a rear seats. When
installing child restraint system to a front
passenger seat is unavoidable, adjust the
seat as follows and install the child re-
straint system.

If the head restraint interferes with the

tem, and the head restraint can be
removed, remove the head restraint.
