CHAIN SPIKE HARROW

Align each chain harrow arm to the frame
mounting bracket according to the machine size.
Space the spike harrows from the layout plan that
came with your machine. If you do not have one,
call you Landoll representative.

Use a 5/8-11 x 2-1/4" hex head cap
screw and hex lock nut for the top two holes to
clamp the plates together. The bottom four holes
will use the 5/8-11 u-bolt, flat washer, and hex lock
nut to fasten it to the tube on the frame. Do this
procedure for all chain harrow arms. Place the har-
rows according to the layout with the same stag-
gered dimensions. Use a 1/2-13 x 5" j-bolt and hex
lock nut to clamp down on the harrow to the alumi-
num mount. Be sure the harrow is secured in posi-
tion. (See Figure 1-1).

by removing the 1/2-13 X 1-1/4" hex head cap
screw, flat washer, and hex lock nut on the chain
and move it up or down a link. The leading chain
can be adjusted with a quick pin and inserted in
the top or bottom slot. Recommend a test run in
the field for accurate adjustment settings.
