Safety instructions 1 Safety instructions We have developed and tested the WMS products and this software in com- pliance with the basic safety requirements. Residual risks nevertheless remain! For this reason, please read this manual before commissioning and operat- ing the controls. It is very important that you adhere to the safety instructions listed in this section and the warning information contained in this manual.
CAUTION The WMS WebControl pro is for indoor use only. It is not water-proof. The operating range of radio remote controls is limited both by legal regula- tions for radio systems and structural factors. Sufficient radio reception must be ensured when planning the project.
Network cable Router Connect the WMS WebControl pro ① to the plug-in power supply unit ③ us- ing the USB cable ②. Connect the device to the network cable ④ on the configured router ⑤. To make the electrical connection, only use the accessories supplied in order to guarantee flawless operation.

An Amazon Alexa skill is available for the WMS WebControl pro. 2.1 System clock The WMS WebControl pro can be used as a system clock. When this func- tion is activated, the WMS WebControl pro sends the time to the network at regular intervals.
The control functions can only be switched on and off via the WMS WebControl pro. The WMS WebControl pro has its own time switch, and this can be activated in the Settings tab (see Chapter 3.3).
Commissioning The time switch in the WMS WebControl pro is also called a "central time switch". The switching times specified here are relayed to the receivers as move commands. For additional information, see also Chapter 8.3.5 auf Seite 28. If you decide to use the central time switch, the time switch commands parameterised in the receivers will be deactivated.
WMS network have been connected via WMS studio pro and are supplied with power. Call up WMS WebControl pro from a PC in the same WLAN from the brows- er: enter "http://webcontrol" into your browser address bar. The WMS WebControl pro interface appears.
All WMS WebControl pro devices found will be displayed. Select the WMS WebControl pro you want and add it. The WMS WebControl pro will be displayed on the configuration page in the table. If multiple devices are displayed, select the line containing the one you want.
7.2 Logging the device into the WAREMA Cloud To be able to use a mobile device to access the WMS WebControl pro, it has to be logged into the WAREMA Cloud. Start the WMS WebControl pro app on the device.

Operation 8.1.1 Status The status (absent/present) is displayed globally here for the WMS network. The status can be changed over by clicking on the switch. 8.1.2 Favourites The favourites, up to 20, for quick access can be added, deleted or rear- ranged at any time.

Operation WMS WebControl pro The Selection tab shows a structure tree with all created rooms, scenarios and receivers. Click on the items to add them to or remove them from Favourites. Clicking on + or - expands or collapses the structure.
Operation 8.2 Operation The user interface is identical for all apps: The rooms are at the higher level. Each room is assigned channels and scenarios (shown as tiles below the room concerned). Each channel can contain one or more receivers. Receivers can also be assigned multiple channels.
Operation WMS WebControl pro 8.2.2 Editing the user interface The user interface can be extensively adapted. Do this by clicking on the Edit icon An existing channel can be edited by clicking on the pen symbol. As well as the channel name, the room assignment and the product type can be adapted.

Control modes WMS WebControl pro 8.3 Control modes In the control mode tab, the control functions can be enabled or disabled for each receiver individually. The switching times can also be edited, added or removed for the time switch. The View tile allows the safety control functions (wind, precipitation, ice) to be displayed.
Control modes It requires a WMS Weather station eco or a WMS Weather station plus. During an active wind alarm, manual operation is disabled. 8.3.3 Precipitation The precipitation monitoring function closes or retracts the external textile sun shading system and windows in case of precipitation. Unlike the other safety functions, precipitation monitoring function can be overridden by the user on request.
When a WMS WebControl pro is created in WMS studio pro, you need to specify whether the central or the decentral time switches are to be used in the individual receivers.
Control modes - Time switch 8.3.7 Central time switch The WMS WebControl pro has its own higher-order time switch ("central time switch"). The switching times parameterised here are relayed to the re- ceiver as move commands. The switching times can be edited or deleted altogether by clicking on the gear wheel symbol.

Set a time value for the switching time. Alternatively, select sunrise or sunset by clicking on the relevant symbol. The WMS WebControl pro calculates these values automatically, a deviation of ± 30 minutes can be set. Select the channels on which the switching time is to take effect.

Control modes WMS WebControl pro 8.3.8 Ice The ice monitoring safety function can be used to protect the external sun shading systems from damage due to ice formation, e.g. on the guide rails. If precipitation is detected when outside temperatures are cold, the unit is moved to the safety position and locked there.
System settings 8.4 System This menu is available only in the web app. All system-relevant settings of the WMS WebControl pro are made here. 8.4.1 Automatic SW update The automatic software update can be activated or deactivated. The time of the update can be changed as required.
WMS WebControl pro 8.4.2 Data backup The entire project in the WMS WebControl pro can be backed up as a file. A file is saved in the "Downloads" folder. This file can be used to load the backed up project status into this or a different WMS WebControl pro at any time.
With Automatic the language of the browser being used is selected. If this is not one of the languages named above, then English is used. 8.4.5 Network The network parameters set in the WMS WebControl pro are displayed and can be changed as required. warema_2035145_alhb_en_v2•2021-04-01...
Online update: Update via the WAREMA server 8.4.8 System time Display of the system time in the WMS WebControl pro. The system time can be reset if required. The automatic summertime/wintertime function can like- wise be activated or deactivated.

9.3 Resetting WMS WebControl pro to factory settings Press the reset button on the underside of the WMS WebControl pro with a pointed object (e.g. ballpoint pen) for longer than 10 s. LED flashes orange three times. The WMS WebControl pro is returned to the factory setting.
