Caution:
UV light is harmful for eyes! During regular operation of the detector is UV
light perfectly shielded. In case of any service requiring dismantling of any
part covering optical unit and when the lamp is on, it is necessary to
protect eyes with glasses absorbing UV light.
After lamp exchange are the steps for assembly the same as for dismantling, only in reverse
order. Turn on the unit and ignite the lamp, if no error occurs, turn the lamp off and follow
with calibration of new lamp according to next paragraph.
Light Autoadaptation
!Insert test cell TC01!
After entering this part of menu light intensity calibration proceeds automatically. This
operation takes approximately five minutes, since the lamp must preheat. Process of calibration is
shown on display. After successful calibration is displayed the following:
Result of the process: OK New calibration installed
Disconnect the unit from power
source!!!
Unscrew the lamp cover with
screwdriver Torx T10
Disconnect connectors of
deuterium lamp on the cable
Loosen both screws M3 Torx T10
on the lamp socket.
Remove the lamp. Insert new
lamp.
Never touch the quartz bulb with
bare hands, because fingerprints
will irretrievably damage the lamp,
when it is turned on afterwards.
The position of lamp is exactly
determined in the unit, no further
adjusting is necessary.
