DEMOLITION AND DISMANTLING OF COMPONENTS

7.1

Disposal of exhaust materials

After having been installed and while working, the machine does not cause any environment pollution. In any
case, all through its working life, some types of waste or exhaust materials are produced in certain situations
(for example lubrication grease of the mechanical parts).
There are specific regulations in every country as for the disposal of these materials and environment protec-
tion. The Customer is compelled to know the Laws in force in his own country and to operate only while com-
plying with these regulations, according to the indications in the product technical charts, which may be ob-
tained from the Manufacturer.
The Laws in force about the disposal of mineral oils or grease used for lubrication/maintenance must be fol-
lowed.
More information about the disposal of oils and other substances can be found in the safety data sheet of the
substances.
The steps employed in the disposal of toxic waste including the collecting, transporting, processing (trans-
formation for recycling), as well as the deposit and the dumping onto the ground are all usual activities of
common interest and are subjected to the following general principles:
a)
Any risks of injuries or dangers for the health and safety of any individual and of the communi-
ty have to be avoided.
b)
Compliance with any and all hygienic-sanitary requirement and avoidance of any air, water,
ground and underground pollution have to be guaranteed.
Compliance with efficient and economical principles in order to save and recycle energy and materials shall
be promoted.

Indications for special waste

Special waste is that deriving from industrial processes as well as from materials of dismantled equipment
and deteriorated and obsolete machinery.
The special (also toxic and harmful) waste producers shall provide for its disposal directly or through quali-
fied, authorised companies or bodies, or shall deliver them to public service after having made an agreement.
When disposing of special waste, check with the relevant local government authority for any available infor-
mation regarding such waste disposal in your region
Any unauthorised disposal by the owner of a product is followed by the application of the sanctions due to
the regulations in force.
In compliance with the Directive 2012/19/EU on WEEE, any purchased product marked with the symbol of the
crossed out waste bin means that it has to be collected separately from other waste at the end of its service
life:
The separate collection of this component/product at the end of its service life is organised and man-
aged by the Manufacturer. Users who wish to dispose of this equipment will have to contact the manu-
facturer and follow the system put in place in order to collect the device at the end of its service life.
The adequate separate collection and the following processing and eco-friendly disposal avoid nega-
tive effects on health and the environment and allow recycling and/or reuse of the materials the
equipment is made of. Any unauthorised disposal, personally carried out by the end-user, would
cause the application of sanctions, according to the local Laws.
