Maintenance: Cooling system general
Without engine mounted heat exchanger (Keel cooled)
The engine cooling water is cooled by, e.g, a box cooler, a grid cooler, or any other external heat exchanger. The
same coolant (fresh water) is cooling the complete engine (charge air, cylinders, etc.).
