My liberty sump pump , installed abour 1 year ago, alarm went off and there are flashing red lights around the liberty box, i out the alarm off by pressing the silence button, but how do i get the red flashing lights off?
To turn off the flashing red lights on your Liberty Pumps ALM-2 sump pump alarm, you must first address the cause of the alarm. The lights indicate a high water level and that the pump is not running. Check the following:
1. Ensure the pump is receiving power.
2. Inspect the float switch to confirm it is not stuck or obstructed.
3. Remove any debris in the sump pit that may block pump operation.
4. Check that the discharge pipe and check valves are not clogged.
Once the pump operates normally and the water level drops, the alarm and flashing red lights should turn off automatically.
