  • Page 3 Connection Requirements Laptop   CAT5 Ethernet cable Connect the PC to the LINKS card via the Ethernet Port 1. Connect a CAT5 Ethernet cable (Straight through or Cross-Over) between the local PC and ProtoCarrier. The Default IP Address of the LINKS card is 192.168.1.24, Subnet Mask is 255.255.255.0.
  • Page 4 Configuration Connecting to the LINKS Web Configurator 1. After setting a local PC on the same subnet as the LINKS card, open a web browser on the PC and enter the IP Address of the LINKS card. Default: 192.168.1.24. NOTE: If the IP Address of the LINKS card has been changed by previous configuration, the assigned IP Address must be gathered from the network administrator.
