Using Your Alex by Dash Bundt Maker
WARNING:
The Electric Rotating Bundt Cake Maker is designed to bake with the
removable cake tray. To prevent damage to the unit or injury to persons, never add
batter or bake any cake in the unit without first making sure the cake tray sits flat in the
bottom of the Lower Bundt Plate, and the Cake Tray Handles are fitted properly in the
cutouts in the body.
NOTE:
Improper assembly of the Removable Cake Tray will prevent the Bundt Cake
Maker from rotating.
8.
Apply a generous coat of oil or cooking spray to the upper
and lower cake plates and removable cake tray. Use a
paper towel if necessary, or a soft brush or silicone utensil.
Do not use metal utensils as they may scratch the coating.
9.
Pour 2 to 2-1/2 cups batter onto the Removable Cake Tray,
in the center of the Lower Cake Plate. DO NOT add batter
past the top ridge in the mold.
NOTE:
Avoid pouring batter over the center of the mold if possible.
IMPORTANT:
Quantity of batter needed may vary depending on the batter consistency.

10.
Use the Lid Handle to lower the Lid; rotate the unit
clockwise 180° until the bottom side is facing up. Fold
handle to either side to avoid contact during baking.
11.
Allow the Bundt Cake Maker to bake undisturbed for 13
to 15 minutes, according to recipe directions. The green
Ready Light will cycle on and off as the unit maintains baking
temperature.
IMPORTANT:
Recipes may vary in bake time and brownness;
lighter batters with more sugar will brown quicker.
12.
At the end of the bake time, rotate counterclockwise 180°
until the maker is right-side up. Unfold the Handle and
extend to lift the Lid. Test the cake for doneness by inserting
a wooden toothpick 1 inch from the edge. The cake is done
when the toothpick comes out clean. If not, close and rotate
the Bundt Cake Maker again and continue baking for 1-2
minute intervals between testing.
