3. Pr ess th e On/S tandb y Key. V eri fy th at no er ror messages appear on the display w hen the
Test Set pow ers on. Af ter a f ew seconds, the Facto ry D efa ult T ile i s displaye d.
4. Us in g th e C ursor Ke ys (or a mouse), select one of t he syst ems fr om the Syst em menu.
5. Ver ify no er ror messages appear w hile the selected system lo ads.
6. Test Set shoul d now ope rat e in accordan ce w ith the 3 900 S eri es Opera tion Manual and
applica ble op tion manual( s).
