Fan Con trol
This settin g cont rols the fan sp eed of th e 3900 's int ernal coolin g fan s. F an spe ed shou ld be set
to corr espond to t he ext erna l envir onment in w hich the Test Set is be ing use d. For example, a
Hig h fa n sett ing i s reco mm en ded i f th e equ ipment is used in a rack syst em envir onment w here it
is sur roun ded by other he at-g enera ting equipmen t.
If fan speed is set too low for the curr ent oper ating condit ions, the Test Set auto adjust s th e fan
speed to h igher sett ing.
