*Close the main valve of piping before starting the construction work.

Mounting of the spout
(1) Insert the joint in the embedded
part and anchor the joint with the
setscrew.
Cautions
●Tighten the joint setscrew until
the joint packing is crushed.
●If the joint setscrew is
tightened too much, note that
the wall may be deformed.
●Tighten the screw
with a Phillips
screwdriver.
Do not use power
tools.
(2) Tilt the spout by 90°, align the
notch on the joint inside and the
projection of the spout unit, and
press the spout in. Return the
spout to the horizontal position
where it contacts the end.
(3) Push the spout all the way in until
it contacts the end. Then, anchor
it with 2 setscrews.
Cautions
●Do not apply
silicone around
the plate.
Water cannot be
drained from
inside the plate.
●If the plate is rotated until
contacting the finished surface
of the wall, the finished surface
may be damaged.

Cutting of the curing covers
Cut the curing covers on the spout side
and the handle side to within 1mm from
the finished surface of the wall.
The curing covers should not be recessed
from the finished surface.
Cautions
●Cut the curing covers using a
cutting blade (pipe saw, etc.).
If you fold or bend the curing
covers, they may break.
●When cutting the curing covers,
cure the edges so as not to
damage the finished surface.
●On the handle side, parts such
as the valve, etc., are behind the
protective cover. Do not cut
beyond the protective cover.

Caulking of the curing covers
Apply silicone in the clearance between
the periphery of the embedded part and
the wall for waterproofing.
Cautions
●In order to prevent damage due
to water leaks, assuredly carry
out waterproofing work.
●If silicone protrudes from the
clearance or swells beyond the
curing covers, the plate, etc.,
cannot be mounted normally.

Mounting of the handle
(1) Mount the handle on the cartridge
and anchor it with the setscrew
using a hexagonal wrench
(distance across faces: 2.5 mm).
(2) Align the cover notch and the
projection of the embedded part
with the handle lifted (valve open
status), and press in the cover to
the position where it contacts the
end.
Contact with the handle when
inserting the cover may damage
the handle.

(3) Insert the plate through the cover
and press it in until it touches the
wall.
Cautions
●Do not apply
silicone around
the plate.
Water cannot be
drained from
inside the plate.
●If the plate is rotated until
contacting the finished surface
of the wall, the finished surface
may be damaged.
