A Chicago Pneumatic QRS 20 could stop running after reaching preset pressure and not restart automatically due to the following reasons:
1. Electrical mains disconnected: If the electrical supply is disconnected, the unit will not restart automatically.
2. Incorrect pressure settings: If the pressure setting is not properly configured in the electronic controller, the unit may not restart when pressure drops.
3. Automatic restart disabled: If the automatic restart feature is not enabled or is malfunctioning, the unit will not restart.
4. Time-delayed START/STOP control: If the machine is operating in a low flow condition, the time-delayed START/STOP control may delay the restart.
5. Transport red pads not removed: If the red pads used during transport are not removed, it can interfere with proper operation.
6. Leaks or improper connectors: Leaks or unblocked connectors can cause pressure issues that affect restart.
7. Environmental conditions: If the unit is installed in poor ventilation or unsuitable temperature, it may not function correctly.
8. Maintenance required: If the unit needs maintenance, it may stop for safety and not restart until serviced.
