Focus Mode
The focus can be manually set.

MF button.

OWhen the [_ (Rec.) menu's [MF-Point
Zoom] is set to [On] (p. 28), the portion
of the image in the AF frame will
appear magnified*.
* However, when using r4_ (Stitch Assist), _
(Movie), digital
zoom or while displaying the image on a TV, the display
magnification
is not available.
* Can also be set so that the image displayed is not magnified
(p. 28).
OThe MF indicator shows approximate
figures. Use them as a
shooting guideline only.
gAffer setting the focus, pressing the SET button causes the
camera to automatically
refocus more precisely at a point near
the current focusing point.
MF Indicator
To Cancel the Manual Focus: Press the MF button.
You can change distance units displayed on the MF indicator
(p. 32).
