This mode allows even closer shooting of the subject than standard
Macro mode, magnifying the subject further. In addition, the background
can be shot differently from the standard macro shooting effects.
Shooting is possible when the distance from the front of the lens to
the subject is in the following range:
0 to 10 cm (0 to 3.9 in.) (maximum wide angle, zoom not available)

• Pressing the _
button again cancels
the Super Macro mode (Macro mode
is also canceled).
• The image area when the camera is as
close as possible to the subject is 22 x
16 mm (0.87 x 0.63 in.) (maximum
wide angle).
