You may experience

when playing

,_ Images shot with this camera may not play back properly on o_er cameras.
Movies recorded at _
setting
and with the video signal set to
the PAL format, may play back
with a frame rate lower than the
recorded one when output to a
TV or video. You can play every
frame by using the slow motion
playback.
Memory card was formatted in
another device.
• Tocheck the images at the original frame rate, you
are recommended to play the movie back on the
camera's LCD monitor or viewl{nder or on a
computer.
• Use a memory card formatted in your camera
(p. 35).
Batteries are not the right type.
• Use only unused AA-size alkaline batteries or fully

charged Canon AA-size NiMH batteries. See

The batteries are cold. Battery
• if shooting in a coid area, keep _e bafteries warm
performance deteriorates at low
(by placing them in an inner pocket, etc.) until
temperatures,
ready to use them.
Battery terminals are dirty.
• Wipe them well with a dry clofo before use.
• Reinsert the batteries several _mes.
• If batteries are rechargeable: Performance should
return to normal after several charging cycles.
• Replace all 4 batteries with new ones.
The batteries have not been
used for over a year.
