Searching for a
Particular Point on a
Disc
(Search, Shuttle mode, Jog
mode)
You can quickly locate a particular point on a
disc by monitoring the picture or playing back
slowly.

Depending on the DVD/VIDEO CD, you may not
be able to do some of the operations described.
Locating a point quickly (Search)
During playback, keep pressing
point in the playback direction or keep
pressing to locate a point in the opposite
direction. When you find the point you want,
release the button to return to normal
playback speed.
Using the click shuttle on the
remote (Shuttle mode)
Turn the click shuttle on the remote. The
playback speed changes depending on the
turning direction and degree of rotation as
follows:
During playback
2M Fast forward (faster than 1M)
1M Fast forward
2B (DVD VIDEO/Super Audio CD/
CD only)
N Play (normal speed)
2b (DVD VIDEO only)
JOG
1m Fast reverse
Click
shuttle
2m Fast reverse (faster than 1m)
If you turn the click shuttle quickly, the
playback speed goes to "2M" or "2m"
immediately.
During pause mode (DVD VIDEO, DVD-RW,
