Image Receptor Holder
Using an image receptor holder and head positioning device is recommended
since it gives precise control over the area to be imaged.
Placement of Image Receptor Inside the Patient's Mouth
Image receptor should be placed parallel to the long axis of the teeth.
CR – Central Ray: is an imaginary beam of X-Rays in the exact centre of the
position indicating device.
