Exhaust Hood Cleaning and Maintenance
Disconnect the equipment from the power
source.
❑ When filters are being replaced and
cleaned (see Chapter "Filters and their
Maintenance"), clean accessible exhaust
hood parts to prevent ignition and keep
the tool in optimal conditions.
❑ For equipment cleaning use warm
water and detergent.
If here are stubborn stains (old spots) use
detergent for glass.
❑ Do not rub dirty places, soak them in
water.
❑ Do not use abrasive metallic sponges,
which can damage the surface of the
exhaust hood.
❑ Warning: Do not use alcohol for
cleaning of plastic surfaces, as dark
spots may appear.
Attention! Ventilate the kitchen well and
do not leave open fire.
The cleaning of the remote control shall
be performed with a humid soft wipe (with
non concentrated detergent).
Do not use polishing means for stainless
steel.
Stainless steel surfaces:
❑ Use non concentrated non abrasive
detergent for stainless steel.
❑ Wipe the surface in the direction
of polishing.
Do not use for steel surface cleaning
any of the following
Metallic sponges, means with content of
sand, soda, acid or chlorine!

materials:
Aluminium and plastic surfaces.
❑ Use a soft wipe for glass, it does not
leave fibres, or use a microfibre sponge.
❑ Do not use dry wipes.
❑ Use non-concentrated detergent for
windows. Do not use aggressive, acid or
corrosive means.
❑ Do not use abrasive detergents.
