Riding in Reverse
10. To stop, pull in the clutch lever/parking brake lever, close the
throttle and gradually apply both the front and rear brakes. Do
not abruptly apply the rear brake by itself.
11. To shift out of reverse into neutral, pull in the clutch lever/parking
brake lever and raise the shift lever one click to neutral. Make
sure that the reverse indicator goes off and the neutral indicator
comes on.
WARNING
Applying only the rear brake abruptly when
operating in reverse gear could cause the
front wheels to lift off the ground and the
ATV could overturn backwards.
Carefully apply both the front and rear brakes
when stopping in reverse gear.
