that are not the result of detective workmanship or materials in this appliance.

Troubleshooting
House fuse blown or circuit breaker tripped. Replace the fuse with a time delay type
or reset the circuit breaker.
Plug the tripped current device. Press the RESET button.
Control is OFF. Turn on the control and set to the desired setting.
Unit turned OFF and then ON too quickly. Turn the unit off and wait 3 minutes before restarting.
Room temperature below 17°C (62 °F). Cooling may not occur until the room temperature raises
about 17°C (62 °F).
Temperature sensing element touching the cold coil located behind air filter. Straighten the tube
away from the coil.
Reset to a lower temperature.
The air filter may be dirty. Clean the filter. Refer to the "Care and Cleaning" section.
To defrost, set to FAN ONLY mode.

walls, ceilings, floor, and furniture.
Dirty air filter. Air restricted. Clean the air filter.
Window vibration. Poor installation. Refer to the "Installation Instructions" section or check
with the installer.
Improper installation. Tilt the air conditioner slightly to the outside to allow water drainage.
Refer to the "Installation Instructions" section or check with the installer.
Unit removing a considerable amount of moisture from humid room. This is normal during
Remote control not located within range. Place the remote control within 20 feet & 180-degree
radius in front of the unit.
Set temperature too low. Increase the set temperature.
