detection device designed to reduce
the risk of fire.
Please refer to the section
"Operating the Current Device" for
details. In the event that the power
cord is damaged, it cannot be
repaired-it must be replaced with a
cord from the product manufacturer.

Operating the Current Device
The power cord contains a current device that detects damage to the power cord. To test your power cord,
perform the following:

1. Plug in the air conditioner.
2. The power supply's plug has TWO buttons. By pressing the TEST button,
you will hear a click as the RESET button pops out.
3. Press the RESET button again to hear another click sound as the button
engages.
4. The power cord is now supplying electricity to the unit. (On some models,
the plug is equipped with a light indicating that the power is ON.)
