Call features
You can use your handset to make and receive calls. You can also use
the handset to change the call settings.

Make a call

This section describes the features associated with making a call. You
can make a call from your DECT 4027 and 4070 Handsets using any of
the following methods:
"Dialling a number" (page 50)
"Using Predial mode" (page 51)
"Using Speed dial" (page 52)
"Using Loudspeaker" (page 52)
"Using the telephone book to dial a number" (page 53)
"Using the Central Directory to dial a number" (page 53)
"Making an SOS call" (page 55)

Dialling a number

To dial a number, perform the following steps:

You can add additional digits to the number you
dial. For example, in some offices you must add a
digit at the beginning of the number to place a call
to an outside line.
