Metering Rod Alignment

Metering rod alignment must be completed whenever
the metering rods are removed from the valve.
1. Disconnect the main air supply and bleed air from
the machine by pushing the tube on the bottom of
regulator.
2. Place the oil cup-retaining block on the valve and
evenly tighten the screws.
3. Manually extend the metering rods fully.
4. Slide the metering rod retainer on the connecting
block.
5. Manually retract the metering rods. Ensure that they
are firmly in place by physically checking.
6. Turn the valve sideways and use the guide rods to
ensure that the metering rod assemblies are in line
with the guide rod.
