CABLING & SWITCH PLACEMENT. ON - OFF Switch Charge Jack Polyswitch fuse From Battery TO ESC INSTALLING THE SWITCH. It will be simpler to install the ON - OFF switch if it is disconnected from the loom. All connections are labelled for easy reassembly. Remove the two switch screws and cover plate.

WIRING COMPONENTS IN POWER MODULE. To front LED in Loco Switch Charge Jack Motor Battery Speed inside AB-RA controller loco 6ch RX Fuse BINDING. The C38 battery R/C installation tray will have the Rx pre-bound (paired) to the Tx handpiece. Binding will be required if the Rx is to be bound to a different Tx.

DETAILS OF # OMEGA-10 ESC The C38 battery R/C installation kit is supplied with the Rx bound (paired) to the # BASIC+ Tx handpiece. The # EVO-BASIC+ handpiece has been set up for Low OFF ESC control. Likewise the # OMEGA-10 ESC has been calibrated for optimum performance.

DRIVING THE C38 SWITCH Tx ON. Make sure knobs are correctly set as in pic top right. REVERSER. Set forward direction. Twist small knob to the right. Fully CW = No Inertia. Part CW = Max Inertia. Inertia is variable between the two points during use. REGULATOR.

MyLocoSound in the C38 CONTROLLING SOUNDS The soundcard generates sound for the NSW 38 class locomotives. Three of the sounds can be triggered using the transmitter buttons: * The whistle * The brake compressor * The guards whistle The remaining sounds are set to occur automatically. When you power up the locomotive you will hear a gentle steam hiss and the electric generator.

BUTTON 2 – Brake Pump. This will operate in two ways: 1 beep – Manual. Sounds only if the 2 button on the IR or the R/C is pressed. (Default) 2 beeps – Automatic. Sounds whenever the locomotive is stationary. BUTTON 3 - Guards Whistle.
