THE TX-20+ IS ONLY FOR USE WITH RCS OMEGA-3 ECS's THAT USE OPERATING
THIS IS BECAUSE OF THE WAY THE ESC's OPERATE. A SPRING LOADED SWITCH
CHANGES DIRECTION, JUST LIKE THE SPRING LOADED ELEVATOR CONTROL ON A
THE TX-20+ IS NOT SUITABLE FOR USE WITH CENTRE OFF BATTERY R/C OR LIVE STEAM LOCOS.
THESE INSTRUCTIONS REFER SPECIFICALLY TO THE TX-20+ HANDPIECE.

You will supply a locomotive or trail car, the 14 – 20 volt traction batteries (depending on ESC), a fuse,
ON-OFF switch and wires where necessary, to connect the ESC to the battery and motor(s).
Where soldering is necessary, we recommend a low wattage soldering iron and resin core solder.
TO AVOID CONFUSION WITH OTHER OPERATORS, WE SUGGEST YOU MARK THE TX TO
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO ALTER THE TUNING OF THE RADIO EQUIPMENT.
DO NOT USE RADIO CONTROL EQUIPMENT IN THUNDERSTORMS.

- Page 2 – 2 – PREPARING THE #TX-20+ RCS TX-20+ THESE INSTRUCTIONS REFER TO THE 2.4 GHz 5 CHANNEL R/C. LAYOUT OF THE TX-20+ TRANSMITTER. The Direction switch is in the upper middle of the hand piece. The speed control knob sits just below the direction switch. Top left is the ON –OFF switch.

- Page 4 - 4 - 3. USING THE TX-20+ WITH AN RCS “LOW OFF” ESC’. The TX-20+ is only suitable for use with RCS LOW OFF ESC’s such as the OMEGA-3 & PnP-3 using RCS-v1 program. Plus it is suitable for use with the # ALPHA-3 in LOW OFF mode. This TX-20+ hand piece is essentially a 5 channel stick R/C in a smaller case.
