- Page 5 S T E P O N E Follow steps one to four on the 10 x10 Flat top Pergola instructions. In step 5, use the rafter couplers that are supplied with your Canopy Continue steps five through seven as per the 10 x 10 Flat Top Pergola box.
- Page 6 S T E P T H R E E Attach Retainer Bars Fasten the retainer brackets to the post as shown. Ensure the opening of the bracket is facing the inside of the pergola. The upper inside face of the bracket will be 1” from the bottom of the rafter. Use two screws provided to fasten to post.
- Page 7 S T E P F O U R Attach Canopy Notes: Navigate the canopy between the retainer bar and the end rafters 1. Canopy can be adjusted by first ‘pushing’ up on the one end and over the pergola as shown. A helper would be required. and pulling down on the other end (or use a helper).
