2 USING THE THERMO-HYGROGRAPH
Instruments are delivered with the writing arm locked. To reach it, push the lever to the left, open the case
to the right and left side. On the left side is a special clamp on the switch lever which holds the writing arm(s)
for protection.
Lift the writing arm(s) out of the protection. Put the plug on the linking strip into the socket on the U-shaped
bimetal.
When replacing, the lever locks the case automatically.
Before transporting the instrument, always re-apply this clamp.
New instruments are set to record weekly. To change this, remove the recording drum. Push the red
gearwheel up or down. The top position is 7 days, the middle is 31 days and the lowest is 1 day. Be sure
the gears are engaged.
The battery compartment is under the drum. Lift the drum off its axis to reach them.
